Chief Minister N. Biren Singh reviewed the progress of various works under the Public Works Department (PWD). The review meeting was held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat Yesterday .During the meeting, the status of works and reasons for delay in execution were deliberated upon in detail. Chief Minister instructed that maintenance works to fill up potholes on IVR/MDR in Imphal city should be executed departmentally on priority basis in view of the onset of the monsoons by the Executive Engineers concerned.The review meeting was attended by Chief Secretary, Addl. Chief Secretary (Works), Principal Secretary (Finance) and Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineer, senior officials of the Public Works Department.
