CM N. Biren virtually inaugurate Jiribam 50-beded hospital oxygen plant

The Chief Minister of Manipur inaugurated the oxygen plant at Jiribam 50- bedded Hospital  today.
The inauguration was conducted online from by Prime Minister from AIIMS as part of the launch of over 160 oxygen plants across the country.
The PM cares PSA oxygen plant of 500 LPM (Litres Per Minute) capacity at Jiribam 50- bedded hospital will play a crucial role in meeting oxygen shortage during the  Covid wave and critical situation of patients. 
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Jiribam 50- bedded hospital E. Okendro Singh said  the oxygen plant had been commissioned on September 11 and its was official inauguration today virtually by the Prime Minister and Chief Minister of the State.
He added, with the functioning of oxygen plant, it will be helpful in setting up 10 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) including paediatric ICU centre at the hospital.
Today the inaugural programme was attended by Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad, Jiribam K. Janaki Devi; S. Indrajit Singh, ADC, Jiribam and SDPO, Jiribam Th. Sanatomba Singh.
K. Janaki Devi cutted the ribbon in presence of other dignitaries and started the oxygen plant.
