CM N Biren launches ‘Go To Village 2.0’ at Jiribam District

Chief Minister N. Biren launched ‘Go to Village 2.0’ at Jiribam District under the initiative to deliver governance at doorstep and bring inclusive development in the state. 
The launching programme was organised by District Administration, Jiribam.
The Chief Minister inaugurated much awaited prestigious Nongshaba sanathong (western gate) of Manipur at Jiribam. Later, he formally launched the programme at Jiri College playground.
During the programme, Chief Minister N Biren distributed assistances under various schemes, including smartphones under CM e-Support Scheme, textbooks, uniforms, Manipur StartUp Scheme, Cards under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT), Widows’ Pension Scheme, pensions, aids and appliances for physically challenged people, Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) among others.
There are 46 stalls open from various departments for providing direct public benefit at the doorstep.
Thereafter, different culture programme were displayed by cultural troops of the communities.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by K. Robindra, Deputy Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly; O. Lukhoi, Minister of Agriculture & Veterinary; S. Rajen, Minister of Education & Fishery; Leishemba Sanajaoba, M.P Rajya Sabha; Vungzagin Valte, Minister of G.A.D, Transport and Md. Ashab Uddin,Local MLA Jiribam.
