CM inaugurates Foot Bridge at Senapati

Imphal, Sept 23:

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh inaugurated Foot Bridge located at Senapati Headquarters through video conferencing from Chief Minister’s Secretariat today.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that the government is committed to bring inclusive development in the State. He said that we need to bring visible positive change and economic development in the hill areas of the State. Various welfare schemes have been implemented to uplift the lives of the people living in the remote areas of the State, he added.
Then Chief Minister further stated that transit accommodation for doctors, nurses and teachers being constructed at Mao, Senapati and Paomata will be inaugurated soon. He appreciated Chairman, ADC Senapati and its members, DC Senapati for bringing visible change in the district and completing the construction of Foot Bridge within 7 months. He believed that the ADC Senapati will continue to work for the welfare of the people.
Minister for Tribal Affairs and Hills N. Kayasi, Minister for PHE Losii Dikho and Minister for Forest and Environment Awangbow Newmai, Secretary to Cm Ningthoujam Geoffrey, Chairman of ADC Senapati A. Kapani, DC Senapati Th. Kirankumar, SP Senapati M. Pradip Singh and others were present during the function.
