CM hosts State dinner for Myanmarese delegates

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh hosted a State dinner for the visiting Myanmarese delegates led by Chief Minister of Sagaing, Dr. Myint Naing at the lawns of Hotel Imphal yesterday evening.           
Dr. Myint Naing along with Minister for Development, Sagaing, Myanmar U. Myint Kyi, Minister for Social Welfare, Sagaing, Myanmar Dr. Zaw Win arrived at Imphal yesterday. Soon after their arrival, the Myanmarese dignitaries watched an exhibition football match played between women players of Manipur and Mandalay at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium. yesterday, they took part in the Indo-Myanmar Business Summit at Classic Grande.
Deputy Chief Minister Y. Joykumar, Ministers, MLAs other high ranking officials of the State Government, women football players and officials of Mandalay, Sagaing and Manipur were also present at the dinner.  
Colourful cultural programmes were also organised at Sangai Hall of Hotel Imphal in honour of the visiting Myanmarese delegation. N. Biren Singh feted some leading dignitaries of the neighbouring country at the occasion. On the other hand, Dr. Myint Naing also presented mementoes to N. Biren Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Y. Joykumar, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Letpao Haokip, DGP L.M. Khaute and the cultural troupe of Manipur. On behalf of the Chief Minister of Mandalay, representatives from the Myanmarese State also handed over gifts to N. Biren Singh, Letpao Haokip and Act East Policy Committee, Manipur, Convenor R.K Shivachandra. Some Myanmarese Meitei women also presented gift to N. Biren Singh.
