CM, Dy. CM, Speaker extend Easter Sunday greetings

Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Thokchom Satyabrata Singh, and Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen have extended greetings to the people of the state, particularly the Christian community, on the occasion of Easter Sunday.
In his message, the Chief Minister described Easter as a blessed occasion and expressed hope that it would inspire people to strengthen bonds of peace, harmony, and brotherhood among all communities. He also called for collective efforts towards building an inclusive, prosperous, and compassionate society.
Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen noted that Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and symbolizes hope, renewal, and the victory of life over death. She said the occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on the enduring values of faith, love, and redemption.
She further expressed hope that the spirit of Easter would bring peace, inspire hope, and provide renewed strength to face future challenges, while urging people to celebrate the festival by fostering compassion, spreading joy, and nurturing love within families and communities.
