Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who had rushed to New Delhi to hold meeting with the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today returns back to Imphal. Soon after their return an emergency cabinet meeting was convene at Chief Minister’s conference hall.Even though details of the meeting of the Union Home Minister, Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister held today morning could not be known, the gesture shown by the Chief Minister and the convening of the emergency cabinet meeting suggest that the Union Minister might have caution the state government over its failure to content the law order situation of the state.Both the Chief Minister and the deputy Chief Minister were called for an emergency meeting by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh yesterday to discuss the prevailing situation in Ukhrul town.
