Kakching, April 22:
The District Administration Kakching in association with Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Cell, Social Welfare Department, Kakching organised the closing function of the 7th edition of Poshan Pakhwada at Community Hall, Keirak Keithel Lampak, Kakching district today.
The closing function was graced by Shanti Leima, as Chief Guest, Dr. Thaodem Rajen, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kakching and Y. Achouba, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Kakching as Guests of Honour and Ningthoujam Parango, District Project Officer/Child Development Project Officer (DPO/CDPO), Kakching district as President.
N. Devendro, Food Safety Officer (FSO), Kakching district, attended the programme as a resource person and delivered a speech on food safety.
As part of the programme, a Community Sports event was also held at the venue. Notebooks and other essential items were also distributed.
