CIRCA organizes meeting/protest

Protesting the merger agreement, Coalition for Indigenous Right Campaign (CIRCA), Manipur has convened a public meeting and staged sit-in-protest today morning at Nilakuthi Community hall under Heingang Assembly Constituency.
Ningthoucha Lancha, Spokesperson of CIRCA and Advisor of Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur, LC Shantosh attended the public meeting.
Speakers also condemned the Merger Agreement where King Bodhachandra of Manipur was forced to sign the agreement on September 21, 1949.
As part of the demonstration, the protestors half mast the indigenous Kanglei flag (Malem Puba Pakhangba Phambal phiral).
Around 300 people from locals clubs and meira paibi associations of Keikon, Koirengei, Maibakhun and Mongjam attended the protest.
