Lion’s Club of Leimarol Imphal observed the Children’s Dignity Week commencing from September 1. As part of the observation, members of the club visited the Carmel Jyoti Home at Luwangshangbam on September 3 and distributed food items, groceries and stationeries to the 64 children who are being looked after at the Home. The visiting members interacted with the children and enquired about their welfare.
They also encouraged the children to take up various productive activities and share some light moments with the children, including a “happy song” that put a smile on the faces of the young ones.
The event is a part of the continuous efforts of Lion’s Club of Leimarol Imphal.
