Chief Minister and others wishes people on Independence Day

Chief Minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh, Works and IPR Minister Th. Biswajit and other cabinet Ministers and MLAs greet the people of the state on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of the country which is celebrating across the nation tomorrow.

In his message, Chief Minister Manipur  N. Biren Singh extended his wishes to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of the 75th Independence Day.

“The day brings us the reminiscence of our great freedom fighters, who fought against British colonialism and gifted us this hard-earned freedom. It is an occasion to value the sacrifices behind the emergence of a sovereign and free India and pay our profound respect and homage to the makers of our country”, he wrote.

Works, RD & PR IT, C&I, Power, IPR Minister Th. Biswajit Singh, in his message also wishes to the people of the State on the joyous occasion

“Independence Day is a day of remembrance as well as of dedication. Remembrance of all those great patriots whose sacrifices made it possible for us to enjoy the fruits of freedom and dedication to the noble ideals of truth, non-violence, peace, solidarity and brotherhood which inspired our national struggle for freedom. Let us salute our freedom fighters and the valiant soldiers for their courage, bravery and sacrifice for our nation’s freedom. The land we live in and the traditions we live by constitute the character of our country’, Biswajit wrote.

Agriculture Minister  0. Lukhoi Singh also wishes the people of Manipur on occasion of 75th Independence Day.
