Census report misses out Sanamahism: SEACO

Southern Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO) has stated that the government of India has  failed to recognize the Sanamahism cult in the recently published Census report (Population By Religious Community) 2011.
SEACO in a release by its Secretary General, Laishram Kennedy Khuman said that the report, which was brought out by Registrar General and Census Commissioner, Under Home Ministry, Government of India have not included the number of people who adopt Sanamahism cult in Manipur.
There are thousands of people who adopt the cult in the state of Manipur. However, the Sanamahism populace has been covered by the Hindu religion, said the Secretary.
He also urged the concerned authority to take immediate actions in order to rectify the mistake.
SEACO will make all possible effort to return all the indigenous people into their own cult- Sanamahism before 2011.
