Imphal, Aug 31:

The cease work strike called by women vendors from Khwairamband Keithel and Meitei Leima in protest against a rally planned by the Kuki community against Chief Minister N Biren ended peacefully today.
Major commercial centres of Imphal including Khwairamband Ima Keithel, Paona Keithel and Thangal Keithel remained closed during the strike due to which the local business activities were badly affected.
