A drone used by the ITLF (Indigenous Tribal Leader Forum) for attacking the Meitei villages in the surrounding of Sugnu area was reportedly captured by villagers of the area. Footage from the drone reveals that the members of the ITLF and the Kuki militants used sophisticated weapons including SLRs, Sniper Rifles, and other automatic weapons.
The footage from the drone also reveals that the members of the ITLF also took survey of the Meitei villages in and around Sugnu area before attacking the Meitei villages.
Meanwhile, report said that security forces have taken control of most of the villages in and around Sugnu area. It however said that the Security forces is still yet to control the Napat area in Bishnupur district. An unconfirmed report said that suspected Kuki militants are presently staying in the village in large numbers.
