Thoubal, Sept.22: District Forest Officer Thoubal has begun publicity campaign for the Wild Life Week observance scheduled to begin from October 1.
In the flagged function Conservator of Forest Thoubal District, L. Lukhoi, said that the weeklong campaign is being organised to make the people understand the important of nature and the wild life. He also said that it is also an attempt to make the people understand the kind of obstacle face by the Forest department in protecting the wild life.
District Forest Officer Thoubal Rk. Amarjit while attending the flagged off programme said that the department will take up various programme to make the people aware about the important of the wild life.
“We will be organising series of competitions and workshops during the observation”, Amarjit said.
