Imphal, July 8: Chief Minister has convened a meeting of State Cabinet today at his Cabinet Hall at 3Pm.
During the meeting, the Cabinet discussed on 10 agenda viz Establishment of Family Court under 14 FC; Direct purchase of land from willing pattadhars for establishment to Manipur Judicial Academy; Continuation of engagement of 3 (three) Courts Managers on contract basis in the High Court of Manipur; Direct Recruitment in relaxation of ban in Agriculture Department; Direct Recruitment in relaxation of ban in Social Welfare Department; Direct Recruitment in relaxation of ban in Sericulture Department; Creation of 523 new posts in different categories of 28 newly created Block Officers in Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Development; Direct Recruitment in relaxation of ban in Forest and Environment; Direct Recruitment in relaxation of ban in Corporation department and Committee of the Government of Manipur to Loktak Downstream Hydroelectric Project after revision of cost.
