MLAs are not authorised channels for distribution of BPL rice or sugar or any items under Public Distribution System. This was answered by the Minster in charge of CAF & PD M. Okendro on a question asked by BJP MLA Kh. Joykishan. The minister further said that additional BPL rice is distributed to unregistered needy family who are identified by locals.
