A boy was allegedly threatened by unknown persons over phone for sharing the news clip at Facebook published at Imphal Times in connection with the irregularities and misappropriation of fund at the Manipur Building and Other Construction Welfare Board under the state Labour department.
According to report, a person identified as Suraj Nameirakpam shared a news clip published in Imphal Times. After sharing the news , a person whose identity is posted as Sany Thokchom allegedly threatened him of dire consequences for sharing the news clip of the Imphal Times.
A report in the connection had been filed at Lamphel Police station and the matter has been reportedly forwarded to Cyber Crime police station, a source said.
