Bishnupur, July 5: Friend of Farmers has distributed text books, exercise books, pen, pencils and other study materials to the drop out students of class I-VIII at Langaolsabi village, Loktak Lake under Bishnupur district in a function on Saturday.
The function was attended by Satyajit Elangbam, District Project Manager, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Bishnupur District; Konthoujam Bantee Singh, SDO, Moirang; Wahengbam Rorrkychand, President of Friend of Farmers; O Rajen Singh, Secretary of All Loktak Lake Fishermen Union, Manipur (ALLAFUM), guardians and villagers of Langolsabi area.
While discussing their problems Konthoujam Bantee Singh (SDO, Moirang) assured the fishermen that he will urge higher authorities to redress their grievances.
Satyajit Elangbam, (District Project Manager, SSA) also extend all possible help to educate the dropout students at the area.
