Unknown miscreants today hurled a Chinese made Hand Grenade to the residence of Khundongbam Chaoba (57) at her residence at Sangaiprou under Lamphel Police Station in Imphal West at around 7.30 am today. The hand grenade however landed unexploded. A team of police which was informed by the family member collected the hand grenade.Reason behind the bomb attack could not be established Khundongbam Chaoba is presently serving as Block Development Officer in Imphal East.
