Unknown miscreants today placed a Chinese made hand grenade at the residence of Additional Director of Family Welfare Potsangbam Shyamsunder (55), at Uripok Ng. College Lane. The bomb was found by the family members at around 10 am lying at the gate by wrapping in a plastic polythene bag. A team of police who arrived at the spot safely detonated the bomb.
