Unknown miscreants gifted a box containing a hand grenade to the manager of AXIS Bank, Moreh Branch today.
As per report, some unknown persons came to the residence of a grade IV employee of the Axis bank and handed him a carton box for giving to the manager of the AXIS bank where he work at Moreh at around 7 am today. The Grade-IV employee having no idea of what is inside the box gave the box to the manager. However, when opened found a grenade inside it.
Following that, the bank staff informed about the matter at Moreh police and the Moreh police which rush the spot collected the grenade. An FIR has been taken up in connection with the bomb threat.
The report also added the AXIS bank shut down following the incident and as of now, no information about how long the bank will remain close is not known.
No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the bomb threat.
