Imphal, Dec 1: Unknown persons today placed a hand grenade to the residence of Angojambam Upananda (42) S/O (L) Shantikumar, at Sagolband Nepra Major Leikai, under Lamphel Police Station. The hand grenade was found wrapped in plastic polythene and was found at the gate. Upananda is a teacher at Tinytot School and teaches mathematics. Manipur Police Bomb Squad team and Lamphel Police safely retrieved the bomb.

Time has come to install at least single cctv camera in each household in places where such crimes is frequent. Nab one, broke arms or legs, whole gang will come up. No mercy, no police, no court, kill in mob. Only way to decrease these sorts of good-for-nothing useless fellows who are burden on earth.

It is highly condemnable to put bomb for monetary demand against private school teachers.
