Imphal, Dec 1: Unknown persons today placed a hand grenade to the residence of Angojambam Upananda (42) S/O (L) Shantikumar, at Sagolband Nepra Major Leikai, under Lamphel Police Station. The hand grenade was found wrapped in plastic polythene and was found at the gate. Upananda is a teacher at Tinytot School and teaches mathematics. Manipur Police Bomb Squad team and Lamphel Police safely retrieved the bomb.
