The Mega Marathon organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Manipur Pradesh scheduled to be held on October 4 has been indefinitely postponed due to threat from an underground organization of the state.
Speaking to the media at its party head office, Vice president of BJYM, Kh. Basanta said that the Mega Marathon is being organised to promote the spirit of sports amongst the youths of the state and is in the interest of the people as whole. It is postponed considering the safety of the participant he added.
He further appealed that instead of imposing banned to the development works taken up by the BJP and its frontal organization, all organizations and individuals should appreciate the works taken up by them.
