BJP organises political awareness programme in Nungba

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a one-day political awareness-cum-reception programme at Longmai in Noney district today, with 78 households from Longmai and the Bazaar area joining the party.

The programme was attended by Hill Areas Committee Chairman Dinganglung Gangmei, BJP Nungba Mandal president Makuphun Rongmei and other party functionaries.

Addressing the gathering, party leaders highlighted roads, bridges, drinking water, healthcare, education, electricity, sports infrastructure and delivery of welfare schemes as key development concerns in the 54-Nungba Assembly Constituency.

The programme also focused on strengthening booth-level organisation and maintaining direct contact with villagers, particularly in remote areas. Party leaders called for greater participation of youth, women and village communities in local development initiatives.
