Jiribam, Feb 9:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate of Jiribam Assembly Constituency N. Budhachandra Singh filed a nomination paper today at DC office, Chingdongleikai, Jiribam.
Today the Candidate was accompanied by Spokesperson BJP Manipur Pradesh L. Veerjit Singh, Ex Minister of Manipur A. Biren Singh, K. Saratkumar Singh, Vice- Chairman, Manipur Food Industries corporation Ltd and his supporters.
Later, the candidate filed his nomination paper to the office of the returning officer in Jiribam district.
Thereafter, MK.Abbas Khan NPP candidate also filed his papers to the returning officer for the Jiribam constituency.
It might be recalled here that the election for 40- Jiribam Assembly Constituency will be held on 2nd phase on 3rd March.
