A newly constructed Community Hall at Tejpur under Hiyanglam Assembly Constituency, built in two phases with funding from the MLA Local Area Development Fund, was inaugurated today by Dr. Yumnam Radheshyam, MLA of Hiyanglam AC.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Dr. Radheshyam noted that the imposition of President’s Rule in Manipur has continued for a long time, stating that the absence of an elected government has hindered both peace and development in the state. He asserted that the formation of a new government is essential, warning that failure to do so could have serious consequences for the NDA government led by the BJP.
He further remarked that the delay in government formation might be due to the central leadership’s consideration of appropriate timing. While expressing optimism that a new government would soon be constituted, he declined to specify any timeline.
Addressing speculation about government formation after November 15, the MLA stated that he could not confirm such reports but maintained that continued political uncertainty would weaken both the BJP and its elected representatives in Manipur.
The event was attended by local residents and prominent personalities of Tejpur.
