BJP MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar Singh to take oath as MLA on Monday

Imphal , Nov 8:

After the election of Y. Surchandra of Kakching Assembly Constituency has been declared null and void by a single bench of Manipur and order to elect BJP candidate Mayanglambam  Rameshwar Singh who secured 2nd position in the 11th Manipur Legislative Assembly at the same constituency is all set to take oath as MLA of Kakching Assembly constituency on Monday at 10 am at State Assembly secretariat . A notification in the connection has been issued by the Joint secretary Legislative Assembly Secretariat Rohit Sapam.

With Rameshwar , the BJP strength at the assembly house will be increased to 20 , with Ginsauhau of Singhat winning the by-election uncontested.

Y Surchandra, who has already been disqualified by the speaker for violation of the 10th scheduled yesterday said that he will go to Supreme Court against the Manipur High Court judgment.
