Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, congratulated NHPC Limited for completing five decades of service and commitment to clean energy, sustainability, and national development. She commended NHPC’s sustained contribution to powering the nation through renewable energy initiatives.
The Deputy Commissioner made the remarks while attending the 51st NHPC Raising Day celebration as Chief Guest at Church Ground, Loktak Project. As part of the programme, she unfurled the NHPC flag and inaugurated a series of stalls set up to mark the occasion.
The celebration was attended by Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant, 32 Battalion CRPF; Chandra Shekhar, Commandant, 8th Battalion CRPF; Praveen Kumar, Malaya Das, 2IC, 10th Battalion BSF; Gursharan Singh, Head of Project, NHPC; Nitish Kumar, GM (Electrical), NHPC; along with other NHPC officers and staff.
Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Loktak and NHPC staff presented a range of cultural performances, reflecting the spirit of unity and festivity that marked the occasion.
