Biren Singh, Sharda Devi lead Tiranga rally

Former Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, along with BJP Manipur president A. Sharda Devi, today led a massive Tiranga Rally from Luwangsangbam in Imphal East to mark the 79th Independence Day.
The rally, which began from N Biren Singh’s residence, saw enthusiastic participation from residents, BJP workers, and supporters from various communities, particularly from the Heingang Assembly constituency. The procession passed through Khabam Lamkhai before returning to its starting point, creating a vibrant spectacle of patriotism.
Speaking to the media, N. Biren Singh underscored the importance of national unity and pride in being Indian. He said initiatives like the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign help foster patriotism across generations and unite citizens under the spirit of “One Nation, One India”. He also highlighted Manipur’s progress in recent years and called for continued collective efforts to strengthen both the state and the nation.
The rally witnessed active participation from BJP leaders, office bearers, and karyakartas, reflecting strong public support for the campaign. The event concluded with a resounding message of unity, national pride, and shared responsibility in building a stronger India.
