The BABINA Group of Companies on Wednesday released two books chronicling the life and achievements of its Chairman and Managing Director, Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh, during a function held at The Classic Grande, Chingmeirong East.
The books—Microscope to Milestones: A Pathologist’s Journey Beyond the Lab, the autobiography of Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh, and Korougi Mangal, a biography authored by Lourembam Orenkumar—were unveiled in the presence of eminent personalities from the fields of medicine, academia and literature.
Former RIMS Director Prof. Ng. Bijoy Singh attended the programme as the chief guest, while former Dhanamanjuri University Vice-Chancellor Prof. N. Rajmuhon and IIIT Manipur Director Prof. Krishnan Baskar were guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh said his autobiography documents his journey from childhood to his career in medicine, entrepreneurship and institution-building.
Lourembam Orenkumar shared his experience of writing Korougi Mangal, while Pradip Phanjoubam, who reviewed the books and wrote the foreword to the autobiography, highlighted the significance of documenting the life of a medical professional who contributed beyond the field of medicine.
