Biggest Musical Festival BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender kicks off from Northeast this year

August 28, Guwahati: The happiest music festival turns six this year. Since 2010, the BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender has grown to be one of the country’s most beloved musical weekends – representing Bacardi India and Only Much Louder commitment to bringing fans unforgettable musical experiences – a reflection of the untamable spirit of the festival. This year, the festival travels to five cities. The journey kicks off in beautiful Shillong, where the festival will be held for the first time, on October 23-24. From Shillong, the festival travels to the remaining four editions of the festival – October 31-November 1 in Kolkata, November 28-29 in New Delhi, December 4-6 in Pune and December 5-6 in Bangalore. Over 100 artists across diverse genres will play on five different stages at the festival this year – with huge global names like A. R. Rahman, Mark Ronson, Megadeth and Rodrigo y Gabriella on the bill.
This year north-east, witnessing the pleasure of this musical extravaganza for the very first time, will unwind to the magical tunes of renowned performers like Megadeth, Indus Creed, Kailasa, Papon and The East India Company, Parikrama, The Raghu Dixit Project, Lucid Recess and Lou Majaw & Friends in Shillong on 23 and 24 of October. Other noteworthy performances of the weekend are Acollective (Israel), Akummika (Dimapur), Ankur & The Ghalat Family (Mumbai), Bhayanak Maut (Mumbai), Blackstratblues (Mumbai), Bombay Bassment (Mumbai), Borkung Hrangkhawl (Tripura), Dualist Inquiry Band (Delhi / Mumbai / Kolkata), EZ Riser (Mumbai), Imphal Talkies (Manipur), Madboy/Mink (Mumbai), Nanok (Mumbai), Nicholson (Mumbai), Nischay Parekh (Kolkata), Nucleya (Delhi), Pangea (Mumbai), Reggae Rajahs (Delhi), Sandunes (Mumbai), Scribe (Mumbai), Shaa’ir + Func (Mumbai), Skrat (Chennai), Soulmate (Shillong), Sound Avtar (Mumbai), Street Stories (Shillong), Summersalt (Shillong), Swarathma (Bengaluru), The F16s (Chennai), The Ska Vengers (Delhi), The Wailers (Jamaica), Undying Inc (Delhi), Your Chin (Mumbai). 

Speaking about this year’s BACARDÍ NH7 Weekender lineup, Mr. Manish Seth, Director- Marketing & Sales, Bacardi India says, “BACARDÍ has been the forefront of innovative music experiences in the country.
