‘Be Educated; Be Empowered’

“Be Educated; Be Empowered 0.02 Edition” was successfully held at Beacon IAS, Model Town Metro Station, New Delhi on Sunday August 25, 2019.It is a one day Students Orientation cum Career Counselling Programme organized by United Living Trust (Manipur House), Delhi in association with Beacon IAS.

The main objective of this programme is to make positive impact to the young generation in shaping their future. Through this initiative, we facilitate to provide a platform to interact between young students and aspirants with achievers.

The success story of these achievers will inspire our aspiring students in making important decisions of life and in planning strategies to materialize those decisions.  A total of around 150 students and aspirants attended the programme. Distinguish persons from various works live namely Prof. Dr. Bimol Akoijam from JNU, Advocate Daksha Sharma, Mr. Dinesh Gautam, Executive Editor India News, and Neeraj Kumar (IAS) delivered speech on various aspects of career goals and career options.

Prof. Dr. Bimol Akoijam emphasises on the importance of pursuing one’s interest in order to maintain a balance between work and life. He said that he never imagine teaching as his profession. However, he still pursues his interest by writing scripts, acting, directing, and producing films and songs to fulfill his eternal satisfaction. Mr. Dinesh Gautam, Executive Editor India News mentioned that failure makes a person stronger and brings everlasting success in life while answering to a question from a student.

It may be mentioned here that Delhi Police North East Cell not only provides Bus to ferry students from their college to the event venue but also provides full cooperation in smooth organizing of the function by providing security arrangements. Also, leaflets containing important information such as Delhi Police contact detail etc. were distributed to the students. The organizing committee convey its gratitude to Joint Commissioner/SPUNER Mr. David Lalrinsanga, IPS and Additional Commissioner/SPUNER HibuTamang, IPS for the kind support.
