Imphal, Jan 31: Veteran and journalist and social activist B.B. Sharma has been nominated as a member of the Guwahati University Court for a period of 3 years by the Chancellor Shri Banawari Lal Purohit, who is also a governor of Assam. The governor secretariat of the Guwahati Raj Bhavan has issued an order to this effect. Shri B.B. Sharma, a retired Indian Information Service (IIS) officer, was also Joint Director of news, AIR Imphal. Information Center For Hill Area, Manipur (ICHAM) has expressed happiness over the nomination of BB Sharma as member of Guwahati University Court. BB Sharma is also an advisor of ICHAM.
