The 24-hour state wide bandh called by All Manipur Police Constable Male (AMPCM)- 2013 Batch has partly affected the normalcy in the state on Friday.
AMPCM has imposed the bandh with effect from 31 March midnight to midnight of 1 April demanding to conduct viva-voce of the selected candidates of the 2013 batch of Manipur Police constables.
During the bandh, all the interstate and district transport services remain off the road while some auto rickshaws were seen plying around the city.
Most of the educational institutions, government offices and banking establishments remain open. The Khwairamband Keithels and business establishments in the capital city were party affected due to the bandh.
Some of people from other districts of the state, who have reached the city from Dimapur and Guwahati today morning, were reportedly stranded at North AOC due to unavailability of transport facility.
