Ban UNC: SSUM

Imphal, Dec 21: Socialist Students’ Union of Manipur (SSUM) has demanded the state government to elucidate to the people of the Manipur State over the failure to announce United Naga Council (UNC) as terrorist group till date.
Speaking to the media persons here at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul, Imphal, Naorem Tanoranjan, Publicity Secretary of SSUM said that why the state government has fail to banned the UNC for their act like terrorist, taking the law in their hands and for creating misery to the people of the state while the leader of JCILPS was announce wanted based on a unconfirmed photo uploaded in the social media.
Asserting the demands for Inner Line Permit System (ILPS) in the state should be fulfill, the Publicity Secretary appeals the concern and state government to call a Special Assembly Session to pass the ILPS bill and bring solution at the current issus of the state.
