Awareness programme on Export-Import held

A one-day awareness programme on export and import was held at the People’s Resource Development Association (PRDA) Conference Hall in Bishnupur. The event was organized by the Indo-Myanmar Border Traders’ Union (IMBTU), Imphal, in collaboration with the Social Development Organisation, Bishnupur.
The programme was attended by L. Dijenkumar, Retired OSD of the Directorate of Commerce & Industries, W. Nabachandra, President of IMBTU, Ph. Ibotombi Sharma, Vice President of IMBTU, N. Khaba, Secretary General of IMBTU, T. Rajmani Sharma, External Affairs Secretary of the Trade Union, L. Suranjoy, Secretary of PRDA Bishnupur, and S. Nilakomol, President of the All Manipur Agricultural Workers Union. A large number of entrepreneurs and traders from various parts of Bishnupur district also participated in the event.
Speaking at the event, IMBTU President W. Nabachandra highlighted the significance of international trade in shaping economic change in Manipur. He urged both the Manipur government and the Indian government to take necessary steps to support and facilitate trade activities, ensuring that a larger number of people benefit from economic opportunities in the region.
