ATRPFM organises seminar on Sustainable Forest resource management in the Tribal areas

The All Tribal Rights Protection Forum Manipur (ATRPFM) has organised One day Seminar programme focus on the Sustainable Forest resource management in the Tribal areas with special Focus on Forest Rights Act (FRA) 2006, Economic development and Ecological balance on 5th March 2020 at Sandang senba Maring Khull, kangpokpi dist Manipur under the Sponsorship of Tribal Affairs & Hills Manipur in collaboration with Forest & Envt Dept Govt of Manipur. The Seminar was attended by 300 and above Village Chief/Headman, CSOs, and many other Island Block Tribal Leaders and Senior Citizen.
 The Seminar was grace by Haokholal Hangsing Honourable ADC Chairman Sadar Hills Manipur, Khaimang Chongloi  Kuki Inpi Manipur, M Dominic Maring   Member Sardar Hills ADC as Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and Functional President. Bd Behring Hon’ble EX- MP MLA and Advt Sampion Hungyo, as Resource person.  
The Resource persons has categorically elaborated on the Rights of Forest dweller/Indigenous people as it enshrined in the (Forest Rights Act) FRA 2006, moreover they has elaborated specifically on the sustainable Forest Resource Management and how can the forest dweller get benefited on their Land and Forest relating to the Ecological Balance.
