Assam Rifles seizes 2 packets of contraband worth Rs 10 lakh in Tengnoupal

Troops of Assam Rifles seized two packets of contraband drugs worth Rs 10.40 lakh from a person in

in Khudengthabi Check post, Tengnoupal, Manipur on November 8.

During a routine vehicle check, troops of Assam Rifles recovered two packets of Heroin weighing approximately 26 gms from one of the passenger.

The drugs were seized from a white Colour Bus bearing registration No. MN 0601BA 0066. On carrying out a thorough check of the bus the team recovered two packets of Heroin.

The passenger has been identified as Mr. Lalkhogou, 64-years-old, a resident of Churachandpur.

The detained individual and the recovered items have been handed over to Moreh police station for further investigation.
