Assam Rifles conducts veterinary camp

Imphal, Jan. 14: 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) in conjunction with 14 Mobile Field Veterinary Hospital organised a free veterinary camp at Sita village of Tengnoupal District. The camp was organised to meet the longstanding demand of the people of the area. The day long programme received overwhelming response from the people. A total of 504 animals including Cows, Buffaloes, Dogs, Cats, Goat, Sheep, Pigs, Horse and Poultry were examined and were also vaccinated. An interactive session was also organised on the occasion, where in the people were educated on maintaining good health of their animals. People of the area have appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for this noble work.
