Former minister and Ex- MLA of Jiribam Assembly constituency Ashangbam Biren Singh talked about various developmental schemes of Jiribam which is carried out by BJP Jiribam Mandal.
In a press briefing held at BJP Mandal office, Jiribam A. Biren Singh said that BJP Mandal of Jiribam is making efforts to develop the health sector which is the most needed of the people of Jiribam.
Highlighting the conditions of PHED and education sector of Jiribam, Biren Singh said the BJP Mandal of Jiribam will visit the schools and offices of Jiribam and try to fulfil the requirement.
Regarding the present condition of NH-37, he stated the BJP government is trying its best to make the road better.
Maintaining his talk, he added that the concerned Minister assured to start the work of Jiri- Tipaimukh (J.T) road at earliest. He also stated about the feasibility for the development of Agriculture, Horticulture, Rubber and Bamboo cane production in Jiribam. The BJP Jiribam Mandal will try to improve all these sectors.
Stating about the controversial social media statement of K. Sarat Kumar Singh, at which he quoted a news report published on the print media of Manipur. Biren stated that MP Dr. R.K Ranjan expressed displeasure in the present condition of Jiribam tea estate. In the said news there was a slight mistake about infrastructure built during the time of A. Biren, which had to be written as a rebuilt or revived during the tenure of A. Biren Singh.
But taking jibe within the same party line of such slight mistakes is showing the immaturity of the leader. He added instead of pelting stones at one another, better to unite for the development of BJP.
A. Biren also appealed to K. Sarat Kumar Singh to maintain the discipline of the party and to act like a son of soil.
He said that he will bring the matter in the light of higher authority. “Let’s the party decide, the party never allows such revolt within the party”, He added.
