ASHA demands for increase of Remuneration

Manipur ASHA’s Development Organisation today submitted memorandum to the Chief Minister of Manipur demanding increment of their monthly remuneration to rupees 5000/-. Earlier the Manipur ASHA’s Development Organisation had tried to convene a meeting to make their demand to the Rural Health Mission however they were allegedly threaten to remove from the post if such meeting were convened. At around 11 am today ASHA workers today gathered at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai  Community Hall and staged a rally and later submitted the memorandum to Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh.
