Imphal West district police team seized as many as 600 sets of dice game articles from various places in the district in various drives to prevent any unwanted incident during the Ningol Chakouba and Diwali festival. The police team also seized silencer pipes of modified vehicles which cause noise pollution during the drive.
District SP Dr. Ibomcha told reporters that the police team intensified the drive against illegal dice games being played at various places as there were reports of unwanted incidents that occurred due to the game at different places.
Police team which seized the highest number of dice game articles were awarded.
