AR saves snake bite victims

The medical team of 12 BIHAR Battalion of HQ 9 Sector AR under the aegis of the HQ IGAR (South) saved lives of two snake bite victim on October 1. The victims named Seitabati Devi, aged 58 years, Village – Utlau, Mayai Leikai, Bishenpur and Maniha, aged 56 years, Village – Maitram, Imphal West were bitten by snakes and were brought to the medical room, 12 BIHAR in a critical condition.  The victims were readily attended by the medical team and necessary first aid and anti snake venom injections were administered, thus saving the lives of both the individuals. It was appreciated by the family members of the individuals and the village heads.  The endeavour of army is to enhance the image of the Army and increase civil military bonding.
