AR saves snake bite victim

The medical team of 12 BIHAR of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) saved life of a snake bite victim on 16 Oct 2015. The victim named Kongkham Nilamani Singh, aged, 37 years, resident of village Nambol Maibam Chingmang, Bishenpur district was bitten by a snake and was brought to the medical room of 12 BIHAR in a critical condition.  The victim was readily attended by the medical team and necessary first aid and anti snake bite venom injections were administered. The med aid and support extended by the Assam Rifles, thereby saving the life of the individual was highly appreciated by the family members of the individual and the village head.
