Imphal, May 7: Troops of 36 Assam Rifles rounded up 9 cadres of NSCN-IM along with sophisticated arms and ammunitions during a search operation conducted on May 5 at Julukie town, Pheren in Nagaland. During the operation, 5 AK series Rifles, one US made Gun, one Shot gun, one pt 22 Rifle, one Pellet gun, 2 Pistols, 5 Hand grenades, one Radio set, 300 rounds of various calibres and various documents related to NSCN(IM) were seized, said a statement. Among the 9 individuals one is a Self Style Captain and another an Area Political Organiser of NSCN(IM).
