Imphal, May 25: Based on specific intelligence regarding drugs peddling on NH-102, troops of 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted frisking and checking at Khudengthabi check post, Tengnoupal district on 22 May 2017.During detailed search of a vehicle, approximately 1.219 kg of Heroin was found in20 x plastic bottles concealed inside a specially modified compartment in fuel tank of the vehicle. The individual along with seized drugs was handed over to, Narcotics Control Bureau, Imphal.
