Imphal Oct 25: A Rifleman of 26 Assam Rifles trooper identified as Wangdsu was found dead inside his barrack at Singhat Khuga Dam area under Churachandpur Police Station at around 10.30 pm yesterday. Wangdsu, the rifleman from Arunachal Pradesh has been posted at the area some months back. Report suggested that he might have killed himself using his service weapon , INSAS Rifle. Details on how and why he shot himself are not known.
