In continuation with its welfare activities, 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South)distributed six computer sets along with accessories, printer and internet facility to All Community Welfare School, Ward No 3, Moreh in Chandel district of Manipur state under the Assam Rifles Civic Action Project 2015-16on 28 March 2016.
The computers were handed over to the School Principal in the presence of school administration, teachers and students. This has fulfilled the long pending requirement of the school. The Principal, teachers, students and members of the society expressed their gratitude for the assistance.Conduct of such events is a mark of altruism and selfless concern of the Assam Rifles for the local populace, thus living up to its true motto of “Friends of Manipur”.
