The Working Committee of the Apunba Lup staged a sit in protest demanding speedy investigation of Khwairamband fake encounter case.
Sunil Karam co-coordinator of Apunba Lup condemns the Chief Minister and Home Minister over their silence even after the main accuse of the fake encounter Th. Herojit had confessed on how he shot dead the unarmed person. Karam further said that Herojit confession had not only open the Rabina and Sanjit killing but also open up the various alleged fake encounter case and also the state sponsored terrorism. Over 1500 fake encounter cases are pending in the court from 1980 to till now.
